3 MW th Pilot Plant Test Facility. The experiments were performed in a 3 MW th pilot plant facility, which mainly consists of coal milling system, furnace, fan system, water cooling system, flue gas online analyzer, and other auxiliary systems (see Fig. 1).The 3 MW th furnace was designed as πtype and equipped with tangential firing system to simulate the real PC combustion environments.
